From cold, wet, muggy weather, to one of the nicest days so far, today was wonderful. The sun was out, no clouds to speak of, and a nice soft breeze, it was perfect. Along the way the views were spectacular. I hiked 15.8 miles and am tent camping near the Wesser Bald Shelter at the 131.4 mile point of the journey. It was a tough 15.8 mile today hike with several major uphill climbs that I struggled on. There are three other hikers camping here tonight with me.
Tomorrow the plan is to go to the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 6 miles away and along the trail, and resupply, although I don't need much. So far my knees and feet are holding up, with no major issues.
