It didn't rain last night. The weather was nice with no winds. Got up early and started hiking at 6:20.
Did 16.1 miles and made it to Double Springs Shelter. The weather held up. I'm feeling good and will be in Damascus, Virginia tomorrow by mid day.
4 / 10 In Damascus, Virginia, staying at Woodchuck Hostel in a teepee no less, which is really neat. The teepee is only $15 a night and I'm splitting it with chef. We will stay here for probably 2 nights to enjoy the city and area. So goodbye Tennessee! I'm now at mile 469.3
