So I have now completed 50.5 miles of the AT. I'm staying at the Blue mountain shelter tonight. I hiked 12 miles today to get here. Tomorrow after a short 3 mile hike the plan is to hitchhike into either Hiawassee or Helen, GA and resupply and maybe stay at a hostel or hotel for the night. It's going to be cold again tonight but no winds thankfully. There's only three of us here so we have plenty of room to spread out.
